Workshops

Workshops are held at Olivet United Church in Hamilton, the York Historical Society in York (about halfway between Caledonia and Haldimand on Highway 54) or the Fieldcote Museum in Ancaster.

From Queen Elizabeth Way:

  • Turn off QEW at Centennial Parkway (Highway 20), go south, away from the lake.
  • Continue until you get to Mud Road West, turn Right and continue, eventually joining up with the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.
  • Exit Lincoln Alexander Parkway at Upper James St. (Highway 6) and turn Right.
  • Continue until Empress Street and turn Right.

From the 403:

  • Turn off the 403 at the Lincoln Alexander Parkway, go East. Exit Lincoln Alexander Parkway at Upper James St. (Highway 6) and turn Left.
  • Continue until Empress Street and turn Right.

From 403 Hamilton or Toronto:

  • Follow Highway #6 South signs to Caledonia (take the Garner Road exit from the 403 from Toronto).
  • From Hamilton, exit Lincoln Alexander Parkway south at Upper James / Highway #6 exit.

In Caledonia:

  • Turn Left at the main stoplight on to Caithness St.
  • Fairgrounds are 2 blocks south on the right. (151 Caithness St E.)

  • Take exit onto Hyw 403W toward Brantford/Hamilton.
  • Take Rousseaux St. exit and merge onto Mohawk Rd.
  • Continue to Rousseaux S.
  • Turn left onto Wilson St. E and then right onto Sulphur Springs Rd.

From the 403:

  • Take Rousseaux St. exit and merge onto Mohawk Rd.
  • Continue to Rousseaux S.
  • Turn left onto Wilson St. E and then right onto Sulphur Springs Rd.

From Hamilton:

  • Take Hwy 6 south out of Hamilton.
  • At the main corners in Caledonia, before going over the river, turn left (east) at Caithness St. E. (Hwy 54).
  • Turn right at Haldimand Rd 9.
  • Turn left at River Rd.
  • Continue on River Rd for about 1 km.
  • Look for # 3315 on the right, across from the river.
